Module One - Overview
A foundation module that introduces the basic definition and concepts of project management. Learn how the skills and knowledge used to coordinate projects successfully are the same regardless of their size, subject and complexity.
Module Two - Project Planning and Control
This module looks at issues surrounding effective project planning, and how control measures can assure positive outcomes. Knowledge of these critical elements provides a better chance of success through project lifecycles.
Module Three - Scope Management
Completing this module will provide the skills to define the background,
outcome and scope
of a project. You will also learn to identify outcomes and deliverables,
and give feedback to
stakeholders.
Module Four - Time, Cost and Resource Management
Learning to efficiently
and effectively plan and coordinate time, cost and other resources
is the
desired outcome of this module.
Module Five - Quality Management
Develop the skills to determine quality outcomes and learn how to monitor and achieve these standards.
Module Six - Risk Management
Risk management is crucial to achieving project quality outcomes within a timeframe and budget. You are introduced to the concepts of risk identification, planning, control and monitoring.
Module Seven - Human Resource Management
Completion of this module should enable you to be effective as part of a team, identify team roles and responsibilities, establish and maintain appropriate communication and undertake or organise staff development and training.
Module Eight - Communications Management
This module should provide you
with the skills required to plan, collect, maintain and record
communications and information relevant to the Project Plan.
Module Nine - Contract Management
Acquire the principal management tools to determine procurement requirements, contribute to evaluation and selection of suppliers, maintain procurement documentation, including receipt, reconciliation and registration activities.
Module Ten - Project Coordination and Control
In this module we look closely at the important role played by the Project Coordinator in ensuring that the project runs according to the Project Plan, and that variations to the Plan are identified and implemented in a timely, efficient and effective way.
Module Eleven - Project Finalisation
The review and finalisation of projects
is the focus of this module. You should acquire the skills
needed to undertake project completion tasks and understand what
is required of a Project
Completion Report.
